Quiet moments shaped by light, space,
and the passage of time.

My landscape photography is shaped by patience and a fascination with places transformed by light, weather and time. I am drawn to volcanic terrain, deserts, mountains, forests and coastlines, but especially to those quiet moments when mist, approaching clouds, reflections or the last light of day briefly change a familiar landscape. Rather than simply recording a location, I try to slow down, observe its character and create an image that preserves the atmosphere I experienced there.

Hangos sípolás rántotta vissza tekintetemet az útra. Először azt hittem, hogy a sávtartó asszisztense jelzett, mert folyamatosan rángatta kezemben a kormányt, mivel rendszeresen rámentem a felezővonalra. Jogosan csinálta velem ezt az autó, mert nem az utat figyeltem, hanem a magasabbnál magasabb vulkánokat.

A fehér és sárga homokból épült katlanban a keménynek érződött sivár talaj többször beroppant a lábam alatt. Először csak pár centire, aztán egyre mélyebbre süllyedt a lábam. Ha itt beszakadok egy láthatatlan üregbe, senki se talál meg.

A csend kísérteties idefent, a sziklafalakon fémtáblák jelzik, hogy ezen a szakaszon éppen ki távozott az élők sorából. Valahonnan energiát kell nyernem, különben ennek nem lesz jó vége.

Hirtelen egy hatalmasat kellett fékeznem. A gumik hangosan nyögtek az aszfalton. Egy Apache helikopter lebegett előttem az út fölött. A rotor által keletkezett légörvény az út menti fasort könnyedén csavargatta, a vele járó mély, dübörgő hangtól az egész autó remegett, az autóban pedig én úgyszintén.
